Opening of Classes for A.Y. 2020 - 2021

Based on the IATF Report, DepEd and recommendations of expert, the earliest possible opening of classes is the last week of August, with this CSOL opted to open on August 24, 2020, Monday through online platform to ensure the safety of our children.

Learning Modalities

We recornize the pressing concern of our children's safety and the challenge to access online platforms and connectivity issues. Considering that we are all coping with these adjustments and in consideration of the UP expert's advice on safety, as a preventive measure, we will adapt the Home-based learning from August to December or as long as the circumstance requires. CSOL will be using Learning Management System (LMS), textbooks and other instructional resources. Daily online classes will be limited to 3 hours at most depending on the level of the learners focusing on mastery of the Basic competencies.

If the situation permits and considering expert's advice, we will slowly observe transition to blended learning (combination of face to face and online learning modalities). We will honor whatever the discretion of the parents should they decide not to allow their child/ren to attend face-to-face sessions. Rest assured that the school will provide alternative options in order to not disrupt learning.

Parents/Guardian's Role

From the beginning, we recognize out parents/guardians as our collaborative partners toward our children's development. We will continue with our communication through sms and emails. We have prepared several online trainings and orientation for parents to be prepared together with the teachers for this "new normal" set-up. We will also provide support through hotlines where you can get in touch with us.

Tuition and Other Fees

We will have no tuition fee increase. Having observed the all-inclusive miscellaneous for several years, for this year, the school will be waiving certain miscellaneous items especially those that involve group gatherings such as field trips, retreats and recollections, etc. and some percentage of the other items that will need necessary adjustments.

Online Pre-Enrollment

Online pre-enrollment will start on May 25, 2020, Monday, to avoid face-to-face/physical encounter. Cavite School of Life building/facilities will be opened to the parents/clienteles on June 17, 2020 observing strict security and safety protocols.

We may have been burdened by the present situation but we have to move forward and face all the challenges ahead of us. Let's pray that this COVID-19 Pandemic will be resolved soon for all of us and to be ready to go back to the "new normal" way of living.
