School History
Cavite School of Life is an educational institution founded by two visionary men - Mr. Ernesto V. Yu and Rev. Fr. Paul d. De Leon.
Mr. Yu is a charismatic and stirring man who rose up from the ashes of hard living by his own diligence and steadfastness, qualities that made him loved and respected by his family and friends. His very life proves that classroom learning is not enough to equip one in leading a quality life – relevant values do.
Rev. De Leon was once struck by a line he read in a book, “Non scholae sed vitae discimus” which means “We learn not for school but for life,” vowed that someday he will put these words to life. The words left a flaming mark in him throughout the years and so the birth of Cavite School of Life.
Together with Mr. Yu’s supportive partner in life, Ms. Elsie O. Yu as the Board Treasurer and his daughter, Ms. Maybelle O. Yu as the Board Secretary and Finance Officer, they form the school’s Board of Directors.
In 2009, Cavite School of Life - Dasmariñas Campus was established.
